Italy are close to claiming second place in the UEFA coefficient ranking after the latest round of Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League matches.

Italy close in on second spot in UEFA ranking for extra Champions League place
Portugal sit second with 9,200 points, while England are the current leaders with 9,428.
At the end of the season, the first two countries will get an extra spot in the 2025-26 Champions League.
Italy secured an extra Champions League place last week, finishing first in the UEFA coefficient ranking. Therefore, fifth-placed Bologna qualified for the competition for the first time in over 60 years.
Inter, Milan, Juventus, and Atalanta qualified for the Champions League via Serie A last term, although La Dea also gained access to the competition with their remarkable Europa League victory.
Not worth it when you have teams like Bologna qualifying for the champions league.
To be fair. the bologna of last season under motta would be fine in this UCL but they lost him and good players over the summer. That can happen in any league.
