Juventus have struggled defensively since Gleison Bremer’s injury, conceding eight goals in five games across all competitions.
The Brazilian centre-back suffered a cruciate ligament injury on October 2 in the opening minutes of a Champions League game against Rb Leipzig.
The Bianconeri had conceded just one goal in seven games before that Champions League meeting.
Juventus defence collapsed after Bremer’s injury
Despite Bremer’s injury, Juventus still managed to beat RB Leipzig 3-2, but the Serie A giants seem to have lost defensive solidity since that night.
Juventus conceded eight goals in the following five matches without Bremer, including the Leipzig clash.
The Old Lady conceded four in just one game, Sunday’s spectacular 4-4 draw against direct rivals Inter at San Siro.
During a post-match press conference attended by Football Italia, Thiago Motta refused to blame any single player but admitted that he’ll have to “study” the game to understand his team’s “highs and lows.”
Juventus’ next Serie A game is against Parma at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday, October 30.
