Promising Milan striker Francesco Camarda will start a Serie A game for the first time in his career, joining Rafael Leao in the Rossoneri attack away at Cagliari.

It kicks off at 18:00 CET (16:00 GMT) at the Unipol Domus in Cagliari.

The Rossoneri need a win to climb the Serie A table, which sees them sit seventh with 17 points and a game in hand.

Leao started the last three league games on the bench, but impressed in a Champions League victory over Real Madrid on Tuesday, so he’ll get the nod on the left flank today.

Paulo Fonseca has also revealed that Camarda will start a Serie A match for the first time today, replacing the injured Alvaro Morata in attack. Camarda will become Milan’s youngest starter, beating Gigio Donnarumma by just one day.

Emerson Royal is favourite over Davide Calabria and Filippo Terracciano in the right-back position, while Malick Thiaw is expected to start again in central defence after scoring against Madrid earlier this week.

Michel Adopo and Yerry Mina are suspended for Cagliari.
